What is CrespoGuard?
CrespoGuard is an enterprise-grade anti-cheat suite for game servers. It includes components for relay protection, authentication, zone modification detection, and game server management.
How do I activate my license after subscribing?
After your subscription is confirmed, you'll receive activation codes in your account. Run the following command on your server: CrespoGuardRelay.exe --activate XXXX-XXXX-XXXX-XXXX — replace with your actual code. The license will be hardware-bound to that server.
What products are included in each plan?
Each plan bundles specific modules. Relay + Launcher covers the relay and launcher components. Anti-Cheat Suite covers auth, zone mod detection, and the DLL. Other plans cover GameCP, Asset Tool, and RF Dev Tool respectively. Check the Plans page for full details.
Billing & Subscriptions
How does billing work?
Subscriptions are billed monthly or yearly via PayPal. You can cancel or manage your subscription at any time through your PayPal account or via the Subscriptions page.
Can I switch billing cycles?
To switch between monthly and yearly billing, cancel your current subscription through PayPal and subscribe again with the new cycle. Your activation codes remain valid until the current period ends.
What happens when my subscription lapses?
If your subscription is cancelled or suspended, your existing licenses remain active until their expiry date. New activation codes will not be generated until the subscription is renewed.
Activation Codes
How many activation codes do I get?
Each bundled product in your plan gets its own activation code. For example, the Anti-Cheat Suite generates 3 codes (one each for auth, zone mod loader, and zone mod DLL).
Can I use the same code on multiple servers?
No. Each activation code is single-use and binds the license to the specific server's hardware ID. You will need additional subscriptions or codes for each server.
My code shows as 'used' but activation failed — what do I do?
Contact support on Discord. An admin can investigate the activation and issue a replacement code if needed.
Technical
What OS does CrespoGuard support?
CrespoGuard server components are Windows-only. They run as Windows services or console applications on your dedicated server.
Does CrespoGuard phone home?
Yes. License validation and activation communicate with our API endpoint. An internet connection on the server is required for the initial activation.
Where can I find the CLI documentation?
Common commands: --activate CODE for activation, --hwid to get your hardware ID. Full CLI reference is available through our Discord server.
